Integrative Psychotherapy

kathleen-avila

Integrative Psychotherapy: is a relational and unifying process, affirming the inherent value of every person.

The goal is to attend and respond appropriately to the person at all levels of functioning; emotionally, behaviorally, cognitively, physiologically and spiritually. Psychologically speaking "integrative" refers to the process of integrating the personality: taking disowned, unaware, or unresolved aspects of the self and making them part of a cohesive personality.

The aim of integrative psychotherapy is to facilitate wholeness where the individual gains psychological flexibility and finds their quality of emotional and interpersonal life improving as they continue to live life.
